4. Karma System & Algorithmic Governance
Emerald Chat utilizes a peer-evaluated Karma system to organize matchmaking queues. Karma points do not constitute fiat currency, property, or guaranteed rights. The Company reserves the programmatic right to reset, calibrate, or throttle karma standing for accounts involved in vote-brigading or abusive skip-spamming.
5. Intellectual Property & Recording Prohibition
All branding, proprietary WebRTC signaling logic, graphic assets, and trademarks associated with emerald chat are the exclusive intellectual property of the Company.
Third-Party Recording Prohibition: You may not capture, record, livestream, or screen-record other users during random cam sessions on emerald chat without explicit, verifiable consent. Violating this clause infringes upon participant privacy and may result in civil liability.
6. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice
If you believe content broadcast or shared on emerald chat infringes your copyrighted work, dispatch a formal takedown notice to our designated copyright agent containing:

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL EMERALD CHAT BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USER INTERACTIONS.
8. Modification and Account Termination
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without individual prior notice. Continued use of emerald chat following revisions constitutes acceptance of modified terms. The Company retains unconditional authority to terminate or suspend access for any user at its sole discretion.
